Looking to find people in the Northern Colorado area interested in meeting up.

There are quite a few Snort heads out here that participate in NoCoSug but it would be cool to include security gurus from all directions.

Sounds like a good idea to me. We tend to have our NoCoSUG meetings at the bar and discuss various security topics anyway.

Anyone down Denver way?

I’m in the Denver area, south Denver area actually. I’d love to meetup. Do we need our own Denver group? DenSec? MileHiSec?

The groups seems pretty small at this point in time and forking would only make things smaller.

I dont mind travelling a bit and can offer a ride. Maybe a location somewhere in the middle or I dont even mind going into Denver as Im new to the area and have only been there once. Is anyone up for this Friday? Location to be determined based off whos interested.

A few of us are getting together at C.B. & Potts near Flat Irons Mall in Broomfield on Wednesday, September 5th at 5:30pm under the guise of NoCoSUG. If anyone else wants to show up to socialize and discuss locations for a CitySec in the area, please do. The conversation is usually good and the beer is great.

Wow, the turn out was much better than I expected lasat night. I don’t
know if it was the location, the non-agenda, or the free beer (thanks
again Jennifer and StillSecure!), but I think a good time was had by
all.

Many asked asked about putting together a mailing list, so I created
one on Google Groups. I have never used
Google Groups to create/manage a group, so we will how well it works
for us.
