I might pull myself away from whatever to hang out. Westwood Brewing Company sounds like a decent venue.

You guys need to settle on a date. Your parameters are, middle of a week (people have stuff to do on Fridays and Mondays), at least 3 weeks notice from today.

Went by there about 8:10 and hung out for about 10 mins did not see anyone that screamed “Security geek” so could be a good thing. Might want to meet at the small Chinese restaurant on the other side of the Acapulco place and then head over to the bar next time. I got some food and then went back @9 ish and still did not see the group.

A few of us managed to find each other. Next time we definitely need a better identification/rendezvous protocol.

Speaking of next time, I propose July 5, 8 PM, BrewCo. I only propose BrewCo again for lack of a better option—if somebody has another venue in mind, I’m not stuck on staying in Westwood.

July 5th, 8pm @ Westwood BrewCo works for me. Do we want to make this the date/time for the next gathering? Also, any ideas for a better identification protocol?

July was a little busy for me with Black Hat in the works. We should make an effort to get this thing going for real. The first time we managed to find each other, but only because a few of us in each party knew each other. I propose:

September 6th, 8pm @ Westwood BrewCo

Meet outside to the right of front door. I will bring a little CitySec sign for the table or wear a Black Hat jersey. Something obvious for those that arrive fashionably late.
